minute items of information and the prayer list names updates. I have forms available on the table at the back of the church to be filled out and returned to the church office. You may also e-mail the church office

"Green Sunday" August 1st is next Sunday: We've been invited to join in a "Green Sunday" on August 1st to call attention to the
effect our lifestyle, especially our use of fossil fuels, has on the environment each day. On this Sunday, folks are encouraged to walk to church (if they are able) or to fill their vehicle by carpooling or inviting
a friend. We also plan to refrain from using electricity (linked to fossil fuels, etc.) and other non-reusable resources in worship. Think about it: 200 years ago, our church founders had none of these
"conveniences" - how much can we conserve for the benefit and well keeping of the earth God has made?
No Bulletin on Sunday, August 1-Green Sunday. Please make all announcements at the end of
service on August 1st.
Coffee at Barbara Stephens: Thursday, Aug 12, has been scheduled for a coffee at Barbara Stephens' home at 10:30. Come and share your summer news- or just relax and have some
coffee and a treat.
Stewardship Meeting: Thursday, August 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
Brunch Sunday: August Brunch Sunday is changed to a Sunday Pool Party on August 8, at
Joan Bryant's House. Choir and Worship and Music will be organizing this brunch. All are welcomed! FMI: call Doris
2010 River Worship: Put the date of Sept. 12 on your calendar now. You won't want to
miss out on this "Luther-Palooza" experience of 6 congregations worshipping together! This will include the 3 Kingston churches as well as our 3 congregations.
Yard Sale: The date for our annual yard
sale is October 2. Now is a good time to start collecting your treasures.

canceled whenever Onteora Schools close for bad weather. Worship cancellation due to bad weather: call church council president.
