Today is Family Church Sunday Children are encouraged to worship together with their families. Readers are encouraged to follow along with
the liturgy. A quiet room is available in the nursery class room next door in the Parish Hall, should the need arise.
Prayer List Update: With the new Beacon about to be organized for the
month of May, please let the Bulletin and Beacon know of changes or updates that we can make to the prayer list. We especially would like to update the names on those serving in the armed forces.
Spring Has Sprung: The Plant and Baked Goods Fund Raiser
is scheduled for May 24, from 10-3. This fund raiser will also have a challenge grant from the Hudson Valley Chapter of Thrivent for Lutherans. Please keep the sale in mind when dividing your perennials this year. Pot early, so plants are strong and healthy for the sale. Volunteers are welcome all day—a sign up sheet is posted in the back of the church. We look forward to sharing the day together!

The Synod Assembly will be held in two weeks,
May 15-17 at the Westchester Marriott. A new Bishop will be elected at the important assembly and our congregation still has two lay delegate slots available. If you have any interest/availability these
days, please see Kelly Downs 688-2579 or Pastor 389-2481. Note: Pastor will be commuting each days and welcomes carpoolers.
Let's Have Dinner Out!. All are invited to meet for dinner out at the

: Three Stories from Genesis: Join Pastor Sonja for a mini-session of Before and After Bible study Sundays in June, 8-29. Selections will include: Creation, The Fall, and The Flood.
Jesus Is Our GPS! Get ready for Bible School on June 30 –July 3rd. Classes for ages 3—5th grade. A meeting will be held later this month for leaders and support staff. See you there!
