Martin Luther had a way with words and an eye toward instruction as he wrote the Small Catechism. Written to awaken and affirm faith as well as provide a helpful tool for households and congregations, the Small Catechism delivers the precise and profound words that have become the heart of Lutheran teaching about the Christian faith.
Join us 5 weeks during Lent as we explore Luther's teaching again, focusing on the first section of his Small Catechism, The 10 Commandments. Most sessions will be offered three times, once at Christ's Woodstock at noon. on Sundays, and twice at Atonement, Saugerties: Sundays at 4 p.m. and Tuesday at 7 p.m. (There are a few exceptions: please check the posting carefully!) Sessions will last approximately 1 hour. Each is intergenerational.
